Rewind to a basement we finished from the studs out. 🎬 The parts of a basement that matter most are the ones you never see once the drywall goes up. Thinking about finishing yours? Check for moisture first. Look for damp spots, musty smells or white chalky residue on the foundation walls, and make sure gutters and downspouts send water well away from the house. Fixing a water issue before you build is much easier than tearing out brand-new walls later. 💧 On this one, we took it from bare framing to a bright rec room, a finished stairway and a new bathroom. If you finished your basement, what's going down there first: a TV room, a home gym or a guest suite? 👇 #KlasicPropertyServices #Throwback #TipTuesday #TwinCities #BasementFinish #RemodelTips

#TBT: Ever wondered how you get a full-size elk mount way up on a vaulted wall? 🦌 Back on this project, it took three of our guys, a tall ladder and a whole lot of "little to the left… little more…" We lifted it, steadied it, checked it and checked it again before anyone let go. Not every job is drywall and cabinets, and that's half the fun. 😄 What's the most unusual thing you've ever had to hang in your home? 👇 #ThrowbackThursday #KlasicPropertyServices #TwinCities #BehindTheScenes #InstallDay

On site today in Afton! 🏗️ Today's progress on this new build: the crew is sheathing the roof, handing panels up from the lift and nailing them down one sheet at a time. Inside, the trusses are set and you can already see the great room and the staircase taking shape. Big thanks to the guys working up at the peak all day 💪 What would you want finished first in a brand-new house: the great room or the upstairs? #KlasicPropertyServices #AftonMN #NewConstruction #Framing #CustomHome
